My artistic practice explores how places shape memory—both personal, formed through lived experience, and ancestral, carried across generations through stories, rituals, objects, and landscapes. Beginning with the village where I grew up in Brazil’s Atlantic Forest, in Rio de Janeiro, I investigate the relationships that emerge from the entanglement of the living and the non-living, and of humans and more-than-human beings.
